AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR INDUSTRY

Dong Nam A College is pleased to announce the enrollment of new majors in the aviation field. These are cooperation programs with Vietjet Aviation Academy (VJAA), training future human resources to work at Vietjet in particular and the aviation industry in general.

The Intermediate-level Aircraft Maintenance and Repair vocational training program trains learners with knowledge, skills, good ethics, politics and health. Students are equipped with knowledge and skills in operating, maintaining and repairing aircraft and equipment and systems on aircraft such as: Airframe, engine, equipment, systems belonging to the mechanical group, and aircraft electrical and electronic systems. Having ethics, professional conscience, sense of discipline, industrial style, good health, creating conditions for apprentices after graduation to be able to find jobs in factories, repair and maintenance workshops of aircraft, airlines, aircraft operating companies, and other related technical fields or continue to study at a higher level.

After completing the program, students are able to:
Knowledge:

- Present English communication and specialized terms;

- Describe basic principles of aircraft and aviation requirements.

- Present basic knowledge of civil aircraft systems.

- Use tools in aircraft maintenance.

- Describe regulations on aircraft maintenance safety

- Apply information technology to professional activities;

- Explain specifications and properties of commonly used materials in the fields of mechanics, electricity, electronics, hydraulics - pneumatics;

- Analyze properties, structures, operating principles, and applications of: mechanical transmission mechanisms, electrical - electronic equipment clusters, hydraulic - pneumatic systems in the aircraft field;

- Analyze structures, operating principles, and applications of aircraft systems.

Skills:

• Use some English communication and professional terms
• Read technical drawings of the profession (detailed drawings, assembly drawings, schematic drawings) and documents of the aircraft manufacturer
• Plan, organize and implement installation, maintenance, and connection of system assemblies
• Detect common errors of aircraft systems
• Monitor the operating status of the system
• Use application software for the profession and aircraft operation management
• Comply with aircraft repair and maintenance procedures
• Analyze stored data and operating parameters to maintain the life of machinery and equipment, minimize repairs to save costs and time
• Organize work in groups, have an industrial style, strictly comply with procedures, regulations and labor discipline
• Use basic information technology according to regulations; Applying information technology in some professional work of the industry and profession
